Combining cutting-edge knowledge and considerations pave the way for the establishment of a new Ca rechargeable battery technology – the “CARBAT”.
The project is firmly based in a combined approach using both experimental and computational methodologies to explore new materials and enable a future emerging battery technology – a CARBAT. While we will target cheap and sustainable material for electrodes and electrolytes, the methodology as such allows us to explore, not the least by the DFT modelling, if there are trade-offs to be made for exceptionally promising materials.
