CARBAT coordinator and vice-director of ICMAB, Prof. Mª Rosa Palacín, was invited at the “Los retos del coche eléctrico” (“The challenges of the electric car”), a forum about the future of electric cars, held in the Auditorium Casa del Lector, in the Centro Cultural Matadero in Madrid (Spain) on July 11th, 2019.
Prof. Mª Rosa Palacín, coordinator of CARBAT and vice-director of ICMAB-CSIC, was part of the experts selected to present at the 4th edition of the SomElectrics! congress, held at the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) in Terrassa (Spain) on June 6-7, 2019.

Prof. Rosa Palacín from the ICMAB participated in the roundtable “Emmagatzemar energia. Molt més que carregar el mòbil” (“Energy storage. Much more than charging your mobile”). The event, held at the CosmoCaixa Museu de la Ciència in Barcelona on February 8th 2019, was part of the “International Year of the Periodic Table” initiative.
CARBAT WP leader, Prof. Patrik Johansson from Chalmers University, was invited at the Luleå University of Technology in Sweden on February 6th, 2019.

CARBAT’s coordinator, Prof. Rosa Palacín, participated in the Nit Europea de la Recerca 2018 organised in Catalonia on September 28-29, 2018 as part of the European Researchers' Night, an annual initiative designed to raise public awareness about science.
CARBAT’s coordinator, Prof. Rosa Palacín from the ICMAB, was part of the battery experts interviewed by journalist from the Spanish national newspaper El País, about the future of batteries for electric vehicles (EV) applications. The article, titled “Una carrera de fondo para desarrollar las baterías de coche del futuro”, was published on September 7th, 2018.
